“The only state’s right candidate”=code for “succession”

leave a comment »

After all that we have discussed about his personal life, fondness for young girls, immature attitude, lack of professionalism, control freak, and being an immature, thin-skinned little boy that can not take any criticism, lets discuss the only stand he really has relative to politics and government. A couple of interesting notes, he sexually harressed his former campaign manager and before she could resign after a confrontation to his advancements he not only fired her, but sent out immature notifications of how she was terminated from the campaign. Another lady was asked to be a chair for the anti-abortion clinic, Michelle, who has worked for a number of years with victims
– “States Right Candidate”, really is code for “The south is going to Rise”
– Up until sometime this year was the state chairman of the League of the South. This is an organization that is focussed on state secession. This URL,
http://www.letgeorgiavote.com/56_Flag/los/mcberry.php specifically indicate he is the current state chair. Officially by LOS, they have an interim chair.
– On July 10, at a candidate forum, the North Georgia Rapid Fire Barbeque, McBerry was asked this question, and in much the same manner as his double talk on channel 46 he replied with “..no that is what everyone has been saying about me but it simply isnt true” and further explained the states needed to exercise the right of state.

§ In a video with “Sovereign Solutions”, found at http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8124398064283511162# (watch from minutes: 58:40-102:27 in particular) he stated:
“League of the South is the premier southern organization in America. We believe that we basically support a return to the bible and the Constitution in a constitutional republic.

“We don’t fool ourselves into thinking there is any hope for all 50 states in in returning to that, if they had a hope in the first place”

“the single best opportunity for a constitutional republic, if dixie leads the way in creating another southern republic, whether its called the confederate states of America or not is irrelevant.”

“The best opportunity for southern states to exercise self-determination and break away from the union”
– He was awarded the “Jefferson Davis Lifetime Achievement Award” by this organization
– He is the president of the Ray McBerry Enterprises, and a People Profile Search Revealed the following post:
Model Mayhem is the #1 portfolio website for professional models and photographers. … I am the president of Ray McBerry Enterprises, Inc. … [ http://www.modelmayhem.com ]

- Further research into Modelmayhem.com revealed that nude pictures were allowed, which is interesting considering he claims to be a devout Christian man with strong family values. It is unclear whether he owned this site or was promoting himself as a photographer. His profile within the site has been removed, which seems to be quite common with many of this other information once available.

He was awarded a lifetime achievement award and one was given to his son as well in 2009. The primary issue on the above link is the reinstitution of the confederate flag to fly and represent this great state of Georgia. According to the Middlebury Institute’s Paper VI, published in 2007 states:

“An online petition recently posted on its website by the League of the South, one of the oldest secessionist groups, asks support for “the South’s right to secede from the current regime and form its own government.”  It had been signed by 2,259 people as of April 18″

The League of the South’s website is quite informative, but the actual site is not easy to locate. I will save you the trouble, it is dixienet.org. When the research for this story began months ago, google searches easily led to finding the real site easily, not it directs to a different site all together. That’s a curious observation. In any case, statements on their main website can be found such as :

A Name and A Place Among the
Nations of the Earth
Secession talk is spreading like wildfire across the country. Polls tell us that support for the States reasserting their sovereignty under the 10th Amendment is higher than ever. Financial and political failure and ineptitude point up the invalidity of large nation-states and empires in the early 21st century.”

New Title Added To LS Merchandise!
Abraham Lincoln – The Southern View
by Lochlainn Seabrook
Most of what we know about Lincoln today has been invented by Northern folklorists, many who were, and are, enemies of the South. In fact, nearly every one of the 16,000 books that have been penned about Lincoln are by Northern writers and have been published by Northern publishers.Can we honestly expect to get a true and unbiased picture of who Lincoln really was from such works?

And for those of you with any doubt in your mind on the secession objectives of this organization, find this very informative tidbit:

Ten Reasons For Secession
What is behind the increasing support for secession and independence? A 2009 Zogby poll revealed that about one out of every five Americans believe that States have a right to peaceably secede from the United States. Perhaps the answer is this: hard reality has finally trumped the myth of a sacred, indivisible union…

From their FAQ section, the following is found:

Q: Does the LS advocate armed revolution or overthrow of the current US government?
A: No. We are not revolutionaries; therefore, we do not seek the overthrow of the US government. Rather, we seek, by peaceful and well-established legal and constitutional means, to separate ourselves from it. Recourse to the right of separation, or secession, is the very antithesis of armed revolution. Without it, men are not free. The right of secession is never more necessary than when it is denied.

Keep in mind, McBerry received a Jefferson-Davis Lifetime Achievement Award from this organization.

“Ïm going to sue you” Ray McBerry. Do not hurt his feelings or challenge him, otherwise he make idle threats of lawsuits

leave a comment »

In the research that I conducted there were many statements and allegations made about McBerry. Especially in politics, it is necessary to validate and separate allegations from the false statements. I found a reoccurring theme with McBerry: Do not challenge him, do not hurt his feelings, do not say anything he can not understand or that he disagrees with, or you will be subject to idle words that every immature brat likes to use “im going to sue you!” That is the American way, especially that of a conservative right?

He is persuasive, charismatic, and makes it easy to believe in him. He makes promises of being different, doing things differently, and makes you believe there is hope and change is possible. Sounds a lot like the false promises made by the current US president doesn’t it?

This makes it very easy to believe in what he is saying, particularly those who focus on one topic or another and fail to verify someone’s word. All of the women I spoke with that he victimized, worked with, or had conflict with all seem to have the same message. Sadly, many of these women are also living in a great deal of fear. The exceptions are the strong woman who pushed back or stood up to this bully and for those he has tried to hurt or intimidate in one way or another.

What message resounded very loudly was many women were taken advantage of and did not realize his intentions or his lack of basic political understanding- That is until you spend some time and really get to the meat of his issues and views. Those who worked in the campaign or have dealt with him personally, paint a story of control and insecurity. Essentially the alarming theme that emerged was; do not challenge McBerry or he will attack you.

What is interesting is his loyal supporters seem to have the same method for dealing with conflict. In my own experiences, statements about his speaking skills or vague statements that he is the best choice are often made. But, the majority of feedback I have gotten from his supporters, prior to this series, is simply attacks of anyone and any organization that is not providing to him what he feels he is entitled to or deserves.

I promised I would not use her name in this example and I am a man of my word. At one event a young lady approached the campaign manager and was visibly upset that McBerry was in attendance. The reason she provided, McBerry victimized her young daughters. I could fill up the page on many examples, but I will not. This woman was anxious and upset with just being in the same room with him. Oh, this was a fellow church member…

McBerry Attacks:

In response to Gandee’s interview with Fox 5, McBerry attacked her personally in a mockery of a sworn affidavit. That affidavit and the press release sent to the major newspapers can be found at:

http://bnjacksonga.com/bm/100-33/localnews/breakingnews/press-release-ray-mcberry-campaign.shtml

My colleague at SWGApolitics.com was in the process of the research on this candidate and went through the efforts to verify the allegations made. As it turns out, many of them have been false. His findings can be found at:

http://swgapolitics.com/index/2010/06/03/vindicated-not-really/

What is interesting in McBerry’s response to this interview with Fox5, he personally attacked Rachel and Chris Gandee with false statements about this couple.

And attached below is the sworn affidavit that Mr. Gandee created in response to these false accusations. Keep in mind, that a sworn affidavit it just that, a statement that is sworn and notarized by a certified Notary Public. Many people often think it is always an actual legal document used in a court proceeding. Often they are used in court cases and are considered testimony under the threat of perjury. These sworn statements in no way legally proves that the statements made are true but rather simply they were made and the signature is validated as the actual signer. Read the debunked article that Jeff wrote for more details. In short, the name alleged on the affidavit was in fact not involved in this mockery.

Keep in mind that McBerry chose to defend himself, and apparently in doing so did not state truthful statements. Consider that this was in response to Gandee’s interview with Fox5 Atlanta. This interview required her to come forward with a very embarrassing and painful story that she has dealt with for several years. Further, in addition to him defending his positions and the like, he chose to make it a campaign point in the form of a press release. This is from the same “man” that admitted to an “inappropriate relationship” with this person. In response to her coming forward he chose to personally attack her and her husband as well as brag about it to supporters! This is the same man that married a student when employed with Stone Mountain Christian Academy and also resigned after admitting to the inappropriate relationship with Gandee. Than he personally attacks her with a made up affidavit ? According to Chris Gandee’s statements, McBerry was not honest in what now seems as an attack against Ms. Gandee in retaliation.

However, it has been stated that the information placed in the “sworn affidavit” were full of false claims. .

In response to the Fox5 interview, McBerry responded publicly with a “sworn affidavit”, which can be found at
http://www.georgiafirst.org/aff.html. This was than sent out to major media outlets with a subject line “Ray has been Vindicated”. Read this “affidavit” and you will discover it was a personal attack against Mr. and Mrs. Gandee in retaliation to her story. Further, the “affidavit” is nothing more than a sworn statement notarized by a registered Notary Public. As it turns out the entire document was full of primarily false statements.

In this “sworn affidavit” (that sounds so official doesn’t it), claims were made against Rachel and Chris Gandee and seem to focus on very private matters which were not an issue and certainly not politically related. Remember this came shortly after the Fox5 story aired. In her words, she still lives with a great deal of fear and psychological damage from this “inappropriate relationship”, which seems very much in line with Sarah’s summary.

Further, Mr. Gandee took out a sworn affidavit too which refutes all of the allegations made. In particular, the person in the affidavit as the “supervisor” is actually not his supervisor. The entire document is attached and called “gandee-aff.pdf”

Than, shortly after Jeff’s articles were public, he received a “cease and desist” letter from McBerry’s attorney. That can be found here:

Example number two of threats of legal action, or implied legal action against someone who says something McBerry doesn’t like. As a side note, the partner of this law firm is State Representative Billy Maddox.

In response to Jeff’s reporting, he attacked with a legal letter of intimidation

In response to the Young Republican female organizers of a candidate debate in April, he attacked with the following email:

http://www.peachpundit.com/2010/05/05/ray-mcberry-threatens-young-female-republicans/

In April, he began to attack another woman, Debbie Dooley, for his lack of an invitation to participate in a Gubernatorial debate. This was reported by me with my previous employers. Its interesting, all of the stories about McBerry have disappeared except for the “vindicated””story, interesting… Anyway, below is the text of that story:

Saturday, July 10th, witnessed at the Gwinnett GOP monthly breakfast, Debbie Doolie challenged McBerry. She pointed out to McBerry “The Tea Party does not indorse state wide candidates, how can you claim to be the Tea Party candidate for Governor?” McBerry responded “I may not be the choice for the liberal Debbie Doolie Tea Party, but I am THE Tea Party candidate for Governor.”

Debbie Doolie, Atlanta Tea Party co-founder, further told us “The tea party has not, nor will not, indorse any candidates for a state wide office. There are too many. I find it laughable, yet very wrong for him to accuse me or the Tea Party of being liberal.”

This is the latest report of Ray McBerry being unable to handle any criticism or challenging by the voters. He continually shows, in this behavior, of things being his way or no way. As we always encourage you to do, verify claims made by candidates and check out the individuals that are asking for your vote. We are hearing from people that issues and character matter, particularly with true conservative voters. Generally, when a candidate is continually show defensive or attacking behavior, it’s a smokescreen to hide inadequacies or other things they do not wish to be revealed to them.

This anger and slander towards the Tea Parts, and specifically Debiie Doolie, stems in part to not being included in the freedom works debates in April 2010. The organization decided that only the top four candidates were invited. This is exactly what today’s debate on Fox 5 gubernatorial have done. However, Ray McBerry and his supporters have not attacked Fox 5 or their debate organizers doing the exact same thing. In the days before the Freedom Works debate, McBerry and his supporters made vicious calls and sent nasty emails to Freedom Works and Debbie Doolie. However, “I was not the organizer for that debate. It was Julian hayden, the state Tea Party coordinator. McBerry refused to talk to Juliann and insisted upon talking only to her husband who was not involved in either organization.”

In closing, this is just another example of McBerry’s apparent issues with women, and those who don’t give him his way. He acts very much like a child.

Further, his group started their own tea party just to have the title of “tea party candidate”. More about that in another series.

What I really want to point out is that he refused to contact the female organizer, but rather called her husband instead. The point Dooley was trying to make is the use of the term “tea party candidate.” As you can easily find, the very tea parties that McBerry claims endorsed him, have in fact not. For example, in Gordon County, a retraction was asked of a local news paper :

http://www.northgapolitics.com/articleinfo.asp?Link=2123b

A voter, Robert Adkerson, has questioned McBerry several times on his stands on state secession and his changing of his story on that topic. His response, besides avoiding the question, was to call him a “jackass”. See attached screen shot.

In our investigation, we found one overwhelming theme; woman seem to have a great deal of fear or are intimidated, which includes his ex-wife. Sadly, many of the stories that people have shared with me, I can not publish, even without their names, due to their fear of McBerry “getting them”. We will continue to work hard to encourage them to bring their story forward and perhaps lead to a road of healing. Some of the spin I have read recently is “they are afraid of McBerry because they know he will win!” Unfortunately, that is not the reason for the fear with these ladies I have talked to.

TEA PARTY SHOCKS LEFT

From the Tea Party News Letter:

GET YOUR FREE DOWNLOAD HERE AND LISTEN FOR YOURSELF!
Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson is the most courageous, outspoken critic of the liberal left and the so-called “black leadership” in America today. Often referred to as the “antidote to Jesse Jackson,” Jesse Peterson is also the man behind the National Boycott of the NAACP, believing the organization to be nothing more than a tool of the “elite, socialist” elements of the Democratic Party.
Rev. Peterson is the Founder and President of BOND Action, Inc., a nonprofit, 501 (c) (4) organization, (BOND’s political arm) which exists to educate, motivate and rally Americans to greater involvement in the moral, cultural and political issues that threaten our great country. Jesse Lee is also the Founder and President for the past 19 years of BOND, the Brotherhood Organization of A New Destiny, a non-profit, 501 (c) 3 organization, whose purpose is “Rebuilding the Family By Rebuilding the Man.” He is the author of the bold and highly popular books, “SCAM: How the Black Leadership Exploits Black America” and “From Rage to Responsibility” and “The Seven Guaranteed Steps To Spiritual, Family, and Financial Success” guide. He is also the host of the nationwide Jesse Lee Peterson Radio Show, a TV host and a highly sought-after speaker.
Jesse Lee is frequently seen on major TV networks such as Fox News Channel, CNN and MSNBC where he is invited to share his conservative commentary on current issues, consistently leaving his liberal counterparts in knots. His unflappable, can-do attitude and absolute commitment to truth are the perfect medicine for a value-challenged society. He is currently on a nationwide “Stop Obama’s Socialist Change” speaking tour.
Exceptionally charismatic, Rev. Peterson generates immense dialogue among his audiences nationwide, speaking at colleges, churches, CPAC, CRNC, Republican Clubs, Pro-Life events and many other venues. He is of great appeal and benefit to audiences of all races and demographics, gladly breaking the stereotypical picture and showing what a real conservative American truly is.
Character is the most important word in Rev. Peterson’s vocabulary. Born on a plantation in Midway, Alabama, Rev. Peterson is this generation’s Booker T. Washington. Jesse practices what he preaches, operating THE BOND HOME (for young men), as well as the After School Character Building Program, mentoring, seminars, Town Hall Meetings and many other programs and activities that benefit individuals, their families, communities and the country at large. His organization is a prototype for a bold new approach that goes to the root to solve our country’s ever-increasing moral, cultural and political crises. His speeches and work inspire his listeners back to the principals upon which this great country was founded. [END]

“They talk about us. They are failing. They blame the Tea Party. They run from us. They call us names. They lie about us. They insult our Patriotism. They smear our good reputation. They accuse us of hideous wrongs. They call us racists. They are losing sleep. They dream of us and worst of all, they know we will win.

One Of Millions Of Leaders!
On July 14, 2010 the NAACP delegates did the unthinkable, voted to repudiate the Tea Party as a ‘racist’ organization!
The burning question is why? This is nothing more than a frontal assault on the fastest growing grassroots movement in American History surging upward toward 70 million participants, nearly double the population of Blacks in America.
The NAACP has been in existence for nearly 100 years and its membership is nowhere near the behemoth Tea Party. It is becoming obvious the NAACP is intimidated by the size, strength and liveliness of the Tea Party. Tea Party organizers have masterfully built an influential movement without racially polarizing the communities they are in. The Tea Party issues are central to all Americans, not just Black people. The Tea Party dynamic has a unilateral message encompassing tens on millions of Citizens, while the NAACP seems to be polarized, stuck in yesterday’s rhetoric with only a handful of Black issues! The platform of the NAACP has eroded; evaporating to the point a new villain must be found, for the government is now run by a fellow Black. The obvious ‘big dog’ is the Tea Party; therefore, the NAACP is motivating their membership by painting the Tea Party as racist.
By condemning the Tea Party the NAACP crafts further division in their own organization. The Tea Party, being a ‘cross-cut of America’ could very well have more Blacks in the ranks than the NAACP has members! To make matters worse the NAACP finds itself condemning fellow Blacks as ‘racists’!
The NAACP now realizes many of their members have buyer’s remorse by those who voted for President Obama. The White House has not pressed the Black agenda as many thought would happen. It appears President Obama has turned out to be just another in a long line of blemished Liberal politician the NAACP has supported.
A loving courtship ensued during the campaign between the NAACP and their sweetheart, President Obama, but after Election Day the love affair was over with not even a phone call or a box of candy.
It seems President Obama’s loyalties and allegiances do not lie with the African Americans, but oddly with his Muslim father’s religion. The NAACP now painfully realizes President Obama’s only tie to the United States of America comes from his white mother, not his long lost Nigerian father.
Sadly, the NAACP and many African Americans are loyal to their Liberal suitors even though promise after promise has been broken and their dreams of a great Black leader have been dashed.
To the chagrin of many Blacks and high ranking officials of the NAACP, it appears they have bought into a company who is selling a bad product line, with no return policy! Its stock prices have fallen through the floor, yet they still do not sell; is that true loyalty?
Maybe not, it may just be sheer arrogance or even stupidity; even a rat will abandon a burning ship.
God Bless America!

Part 1: McBerry, The Preying Candidate

leave a comment »

Smoke Leads to Fire

As with all rumors, one must verify the facts, seek the proof, and than share those facts accordingly. This part of the series outlines the personal, and mostly public, facts of McBerry’s past.

    McBerry’s First Two Marriages

I was contacted by several sources that refused to grant permission for me to share their name and thus their stories. However, the following is the information I can share. Stay with me, as this is lengthy, but there it is all important as you will see.

McBerry’s first marriage was to Holly Michelle Tomilson, on May 4, 1998. See the attached marriage certificate. McBerry filed for divorce on September 8, 1998, and the divorce was finalized on October 22, 1998. Ms Tomilson was a student at Stone Mountain Christian Academy and Ray McBerry was her teacher. See the attached yearbook information, complete with the cover.

Several student’s contacted me when this was first published in the newspaper, but one stated and allowed me to publish:

Unfortunately, there is no proof beyond what we all saw as students.  One thing I remember in particular between him and Holly was a school retreat we took to the 4-H camp in Eatonton, GA where myself and others saw them sitting under a tree and he was stroking her arm.

It’s just his general creepy behavior that most of us remember.  In all his classes he would only allow girls to sit on the front row.  One former student told me a few weeks ago that he was constantly trying to look up her dress.  He would also corner girls in his classroom after the bell rang and stand really close to them and engage them in meaningless conversations.  At the time, we thought he was a creep – but history speaks for itself and I completely agree with you – this is not about politics.  We all know he has no chance of winning anyway.”

Newlywed McBerry Meets the future, second, Mrs. Ray McBerry

    He met his second wife, Sarah Tamica Kirkland, shortly after returning from their honeymoon. They were married on April 10, 1999, and the license was granted on February 15, 1999.

    Sara’s account is that she was home from school on summer break and met McBerry at church. She stated he took an interest in her, but she knew that he was a newlywed. Through this process and experience he provided her with a job. Over the following months of that summer they became emotionally close with McBerry confiding in her intimate details of his life. He called her late one night, with excitement in his voice, proclaiming that he was divorcing his new bride, the former high school student of his, and had previously made it clear that he wished to pursue Sara romantically.

    Sara the marriage as one of fear and control. In one example Sarah stated “He would yell at me and talk to me a child over just about everything. For example, I would not put the plates on the table the right way and he was yell at me that things costs money and why did I not understand that and he would question why he had to treat me like a child”.

    Sara spoke, not out of anger, but out of pity on McBerry. In her words, she made a commitment, for better or for worse and it took one final, horrible, act to give he the courage to break that commitment. On one instance, McBerry locked her in the house and did so with the blessings of the church elders. She further stated “things were so bad, I took our son and left to get away from him at the first possible chance that I could.”

    She shared much more detail of the environment and her life to follow, however this story is not about her. After a period of separation, the divorce was finalized on December 6, 2003. Much of the abuse and obsession with “southern secession” left its mark on her psychological well-being.

    One final thought on Sara, it is interesting the tone in which she spoke. After a horrible situation, one would think she would be angry, but she speaks out of pity. She even stated “he was in a relationship with me longer than he had ever been”.

    My personal opinion is that she still cares for him on some level and wishes him no ill-will. Finally, Sara told me that McBerry begged her to take him back just 2 years ago. This is quite contrary to the picture McBerry paints.

    McBerry often tells a different story including one that he is a single parent with sole custody. He also makes allegations that he would not let their son around the mother because she “tested positive for meth,” which is why he was granted custody. For a period, Sarah admits to being on drugs after she escaped because her life was a wreck as a result of her environment and marriage to McBerry. What McBerry fails to disclose is the court granted Sarah visitation. I can tell you she is much more stable, in school full-time, and very far through the healing process. She has truly grown from this experience. She may be on her way to becoming a “mama grizzly”. The legal binding document that gives her visitation agreement. This is outlined on the bottom of page two attached below.

    What is interesting is that McBerry has been in contempt of this court order since almost its inception. McBerry’s address on his campaign financial disclosures is to an empty lot. Further, inspite of losing the primary, he still has not filed the appropriatte, now late, filings with Georgia’s SoS’s office.

    Further, Sarah filed for divorce without representation and McBerry was awarded all of the assets including primary custody of their son. Generally, when a plaintiff gives up everything, it is a sign they want things over as quickly and easily as possible and will do whatever it takes. Sadly, his campaign continues to attack Sarah by stating things such as “No mother is ever given just vitiation unless there is something wrong.” Naomi Brown, McBerry supporter.

    From Sarah, and the account’s of other, something was certainly wrong, but it was due to the way she was treated, controlled, and abused during their marriage.

    Once more, however, McBerry simply attacks her and paints himself as the “poor single father just trying to make it through”. Fortunately, most voters do not cast their vote based on pity.

    The Story of Gandee

    Gandee was a member of the youth group that McBerry was the interim youth pastor. Gandee contacted McBerry to provide counseling. Over time, this counseling developed into a relationship which included his providing her with a cell phone and ending with a very pathetic apology letter to the entire family. In spite of a restraining order filed by the parents, he continued, at least once, to make contact with Gandee. The time-line, details and the like can be found below on my colleague’s site, SWGApolitics.com. He spent countless hours and put a lot of those details together. This story is not to re-report this same information, so I will let you read the story here to get caught up:

    http://swgapolitics.com/index/2010/05/06/mcberry-saga-story-timelin/

    Read carefully about the dog(s) and the hidden signs; this will tie into a young lady during the summer of 2009. That will  become important below when we discuss the “inappropriate relationship” with the 13 year old. You’ll have to keep reading to get to that part…

    The Fox5 interview can be found at:

    http://www.myfoxatlanta.com/dpp/news/woman-admits-relationship-with-mcberry-050410

    Although by his own admission of having an “inappropriate relationship” with Gandee, he attacked her and her husband following this interview. In short, he attacked them personally with lies about their personal lives with a “sworn affidavit” and that was debunked by Jeff at SWGApolitics.com. Mr. Gandee responded with a sworn affidavit. Both of these can be found attached below. More about this behavior can be found in the next story.

    The campaign sent out a press release including the sworn affidavit attached below. It was very personal in the attacks on the Gandee’s and was used purely politically. More details can be found at the link below, or you can stay tuned for the next series.

    http://swgapolitics.com/index/2010/06/03/vindicated-not-really/

    In short, McBerry admits to an inappropriate relationship and denies anything other than it was “inappropriate”. He resigned from his teaching position, and admitted to providing a false statement to the school about the situation initially. He makes claims that he is still a licensed teacher, however that license expired in 2005. In the past, he has made statements that he could renew that license at any time.

    Based on his divorce decree, his income was roughly $2400 per month in commission-only sales. One has to wonder why he never pursued teaching further. A great deal of education and expense is required to become a teacher to simply drop and enter into the video and modeling business. More about that later.

    Regardless of my musings, a source at the PSC (Professional Standards Commission), the agency responsible for teaching licenses and certification standards in Georgia, told me that he was asked to never pursue teaching again. I can not reveal the source so take that as a rumor rather than a fact.

    Regardless or rumors, its an interesting observation that he resigned because of this incident and has not pursued the profession since. More importantly, notice his behavior after the Gandee story aired and when Jeff’s story was published.  He sent a cease-and -desist letter to Jeff and his partner at SWGApolitics.com. I promise, that is also in the next story. In the mean time, lets get back to this story.

    All of this happened between the mid 90s and the early 2000s.

    Pastor James Brown JR, Summer of 2009, and “Inappropriate Attention” to a 13 Year old girl

    Before we get into this, let me make one thing very clear: This involves a minor and her identity will be  protected. She is a happy, sweet, and normal young lady with a stable family life. Most importantly, this story is about McBerry, not her, Sarah, Gandee, or any of the others that have been victimized by McBerry. This is all about McBerry and his conduct.

    Pastor Brown first began to work for the McBerry campaign as county chair and by the time that he left the campaign, he was a member of the board of advisers.

    “I first began to question his motives as a governor. I think my views and his about State Sovereignty are very different. It became apparent to me he was using the Gubernatorial Platform to promote his sovereignty views rather than seeking a leadership role” I will explore the rest of that part of the interview in the next story.

    Brown further stated “He made it clear that …he seemed to think he could dictate to the state from the Governor’s mansion and had a complete disregard for the judicial branch of our government. You have to work with people, but McBerry seemed act as though he could control the outcome of everything.” This attitude is similar to what Gandee, Sarah, and others described that know McBerry well.

    The 13 Year-old Girl

    “I first began to notice that he seemed to single out one particular girl. Being a pastor and a father, you notice certain things. This started at first with extra attention and progressed to close and tight full-frontal hugs every time he saw her, and gifts. You just don’t hug a young girl like that!” Pastor Brown stated.

    The young lady, was initially questioned by her parents about McBerry’s communication, the gifts, including a kitten, and his actions. It was after she initially denied anything weird or wrong, that she later came back to her parents and said that McBerry “gave me a creepy feeling” and was “confused by his “special attention”.  She further stated “..it weirded me out.”

    McBerry continued to try to gain access to the child and become close to the family. He visited the family more regularly and made comments from time to time about helping watch her and her sister while they (the parents) went out. He never out right asked them to baby sit, but rather just mentioned that this young lady and her sister would be welcome to visit him and “hang-out”. Very odd behavior for a grown, single, man without daughters.

    When confronted with those emails, McBerry seemed to expect the conversation, maintained eye contact and had a very “almost rehearsed” answer for everything he brought up, always essentially dodging the question, according to Brown. His tone was explanatory and Pastor Brown suggested that as the bible indicates, if they could not resolve their problem privately, that the parents, the girl, and McBerry meet with the church elders to discuss. McBerry refused. This seems to be the same suggestion McBerry begged of the Gandee family, however he was not willing to do the same when confronted and caught.

    In that same conversation, Brown further questions McBerry about his profile from a site called “modelmayhem.com”. Although the site is still online, his profile is either hidden or deleted. Visit http://www.modelmayhem.com/569824 and read your title bar and it will say “Ray M Enterprises- Photographer- MCDONOUGH, Georgia, US. “

    Where there is smoke, there is fire…

    Some sexual predator signs include:

    • Have a preoccupation with children
    • May be overly nice, kind, friendly
    • Use clever means to gain access to and cross boundaries with children
    • Overly attentive to your child
    • Child predators often work in a position that allows them access to children. They can be teachers, coaches, scout leaders, church personnel, etc.
    • They are usually loners and have an inability to get their needs met from adult relationships.
    • Pedophiles will do everything in their power to earn your trust, so you’ll assume that your child is safe in their care.
    • Most pedophiles are men. It is estimated that only 4% of pedophiles are women. Don’t let this prevent you from looking more closely at a woman who your child has reported feeling unsafe with. Female child predators are out there as the recent allegations against church worker, Melissa Huckaby, for the abduction, rape and murder of eight-year old Sandra Cantu attests.

    These are provided by Dr. Lisa Jackson courtesy of Applied Psychology Today.

    Brown presented McBerry with the following facebook emails found below and the full text is attached to this article. The kitten McBerry asks about was a gift from McBerry to this young lady which is much like the dog issue with Gandee.

    Hi, princess! How is my favourite [name withheld]? :-) I did have a great fathers day, thanks… after church, TR and I went to my mom and dad’s for dinner and we had a great time.

    That is a great name for the kitten!

    How was the League summer institute on Saturday? I hated missing it… and the fellowship, but hopefully we’ll get to see you all much more now that we’re neighbors. :-)

    Hello, princess… I’m glad to hear that you’re doing good. :-) I am hoping that we will be able to attend the Bible study Friday night but am not sure yet; our church has Vacation Bible School each evening this week, so we wont get to leave until that’s over. Either way, though, we are looking forward to seeing you again soon!

    Wow, you’re gonna spoil me sending me three messages in the same week, Miss [name withheld]. :-)

    You’ll have to tell “Dixie” that we said “hello.” Is she doing well? I’m sure she is eating up all of the attention!

    Our VBS doesnt actually end until 7:30 or thereabouts, so I will just have to see what time it is when we actually leave. Hopefully we can still make it.

    I’m glad that you enjoy it as much as do I. :-)

    VBS wont be over tomorrow until 8pm because they will be having the final service with parents invited, etc… so i’m not sure we’ll make it tomorrow night :-( Please dont be too disappointed in us; it isnt that we dont wish to be there, I assure you.

    I have a LOT of speaking engagements coming up… with my speaking tour of the state getting ready to begin in about a month! I hope that you’ll be able to be at some of them. TR will undoubtedly be glad to see you, as well!

    You’ll have to give me a report on how the Bible study goes tomorrow night if we cant make it.

    Well, sleep well and have a great day Friday!

    Hello, princess… please forgive me for taking so long to reply. It has been an incredibly busy week and is only half over!

    TR and I were both glad that we were able to make it, too… we both had a great time. He was so exhausted that I had to carry him into the house when we got home. lol

    The campaign events have been going extremely well. we are getting new volunteers every time that I speak at an event… and, yes, I had one the night you sent my last msg. :-) It went well, too, but i didnt get to speak.

    You havent been getting me in trouble with all of your sisters and brother by telling them you’re my favourite [last name withheld], have you? lol Dont get me in trouble with the rest of them!

    I know that your dad is going to be speaking for me down in [location withheld], GA this Saturday. I have a great deal of respect and gratitude for your dad; he is a great man, and I am honoured to have him speaking for me when I cant be there.

    Well, let me know what you’ve been doing all week!

    God bless,

    It has been a very long and tiring day. I am sure hoping that yours was better than mine!

    What did you do today? Something enjoyable, I hope.

    I’m sorry that I’m so tired this evening, but I look forward to hearing back from you and talking to you more when I’m not quite so tired. :-)

    Hello, princess! I cant wait to hear your report about yesterday down in [location withheld], Ga! I’ve already heard reports that dad did a great job… as always! :-)

    Here’s how my own weekend went for the campaign…

    Friday night we went to the Tea Party Rally in Cobb County and passed out approx 1,000 push cards and spoke to people.

    Saturday morning we were in the Woodstock parade and passed out another 2,500 push cards while walking and talking to people.

    Saturday at lunch I spoke to about 300 people at the Cobb County Republican meeting… and attempted to eat their barbeque which tasted more like sawdust than bbq ;-)

    Saturday evening I spoke at the Tea Party rally at the Capitol and got the best response of any of the speakers there. You must’ve been praying for me!

    Ok, I look forward to hearing back from you.

    I have a LOT of events coming up… maybe you will be able to come to some of them that are close by. You’ll have to sit out in the audience and make faces at me to make me smile. lol No, just smile at me… that will be just fine. :-)

    Hello, princess… you’ll have to tell me what kind of rearranging you’ve been doing. Are you still in the same room or are you moved now? I have to confess that I have done very little campaign work Friday or Saturday this weekend; I spent Friday cutting grass and running errands and Saturday was spent mainly doing laundry and cleaning house. ugh, I hate doing housework! lol Dont you want to come take care of it for us?! :-)

    Good morning! It sounds like you all have been busy bees moving everything around… I’m glad that I wasnt there to get in the way! :-)

    Yes, I must confess that our house gets cleaned way less often than it should; but, as you said, that is the way we men are. TR and I keep the house neat for the most part, but we dont do the things like vacuuming, sweeping, and dusting very often.

    I would love for you to come give our house a good cleaning, but I doubt that your mom and dad would let us take you away from your chores around there. Plus, TR and I would probably be so spoiled that we wouldnt give you back! :-)

    Last night I spoke to a group of about 50 or so up in Marietta, Ga; and it went incredibly well. Now I am about to go to speak to another group in the same place in just a few minutes. You’ll have to pray for me with all of these speaking engagements coming up!

    I am so sorry that I am just now getting to reply to your message. I have a ton of messages that are just sitting in my inbox unanswered; but, if it makes any difference, I picked yours to answer first! :-)

    I’ve had two meeting already this week and again tonight. Saturday, I will be back up in north Georgia for a speaking engagement and then a parade.

    I am praying for you all and mom with the new baby so close to being here. Please keep me updated!

    Yeah, the parades are fun. :-) The one Saturday will be up in Hiawassee, Georgia… waaaaay up in north Georgia.

    Hi, princess… yes, I was thinking of the League of the South meeting. I’m glad to hear that you werent there, otherwise I would have been doubly upset about not being able to make it. :-) Maybe we’ll both be able to make the next one!

    Yes, I think that TR and I are going to drive up to north Georgia this evening and spend the night; it’s just too far to drive in the morning, since I have to speak at a breakfast at 8 am.

    Well, I’m glad that your day is going good so far! I hope that it only gets better and cant wait to hear from you as the day goes on.

    I am not sure about Sunday afternoon, but we will try to be there if at all possible; TR and I would both enjoy it for sure.

    No meetings today, other that a couple of telephone conferences for the campaign.

    I look forward to hearing back from you later… see, you have spoiled me by messaging me every day! :-)

    Ray

    Notice the pattern of communication and how it continues to get seemingly closer. After presenting these without his name or photo to 10 random people, on three separate occasions, most every person (61% female, ages ranged from 19-39) stated it was over the line and very inappropriate. The word creep and child molester were also used. There is nothing criminal in the emails, but these were sent from McBerry to a 13 year-old girl over the course of a few months over the summer, 2009.

    It is apparent that this behavior is inappropriate for a grown man, particularly one running for a state governor’s role. Further, it seems that there is a pattern of behavior that has existed for over 10 years. A run for a public office probably should not McBerry’s first priority.

    Unfortunately, I spoke with several other girls who were teenagers and heard similar stories, particularly with the progressive behavior. He referred to his first wife, second wife, and some of these unamed other girls as “princess”.

    The unfortunate part is these young ladies live in so much fear that even talking to me was difficult. They are concerned and do not want the same outcome for other girls, but do not yet have the courage to publicly tell their story.

    These are seemingly decent young ladies who had the unfortunate experience of being pursued by McBerry. They have been encouraged to come forward and seek the help need to heal from these deep scars, but the fear of retaliation by McBerry is far too great. I encourage any of you reading this now that know of those impacted, to please contact me and maybe together they can stand firm and begin to heal from these experiences.

    As things evolve, I may have a follow-up story. The primary message is that McBerry seems to have deep emotional issues that probably are related to not being fully emotionally matured. This part is not a problem, but the lack of it being addressed is.

    These young ladies need to feel safe, heal from the experiences. Remember ladies, there is strength in numbers. I still encourage you to, if nothing else, get together and talk to one another.

    Stay tuned for the next story that will explore the various confrontation McBerry has encountered including calling voters “jackasses” and threats of party or legal repercussions, when he does not get his way or is challenged.<a

The Real McBerry, Predator, Bully, and Secessionis

with one comment

My News paper tells me that McBerry is so insinifigant that he isnt worth the attention or coverage. I feel the young ladies who have been victimized by him, in fact, are. It is important to take a look at the actions, past and current, of an individuals to determine what type of person they are.

The following stories are just facts that I have gathered, and you can use your own judgement and form your own conclusion.

~~~~~
As the election season is heating up, it is important that you are familiar with not only the politics, the stand, and the issues of the candidate, but it is also equally important that you understand the character of the individual.  This series is about the life and behaviors of Ray McBerry, Gubernatorial candidate which will be his second attempt to win this nomination.
What this investigation has revealed is disturbing, to say the least. I have discovered a man that behaves as a child predator, has thorough knowledge of the US and state constitution, but lacks basic understanding of these documents and of how government works. Moreover, I have discovered a man that is socially inept, emotionally immature, can not handle confrontation or criticism. It is implied and directly stated by several that McBerry is quite controlling. This man is Ray McBerry.
You will also learn about a man from south Atlanta that refuses to salute the American flag because “which represents the present unconstitutional leviathan in Washington.” Ray McBerry
You will also read the interviews with former campaign workers, former wives, and those close to him. These stories show the same pattern: do not challenge McBerry. He will attack you personally and publically as well as lie about the facts. For the record, these interviews are largely with people with no interest in politics nor any ties.
How Did We Get Here
I first became curious with his refusal to make himself available for an interview with BestNews. While this is prima facie, the behaviors and responses from his campaign had a distinctive tone of self-preservation and dishonesty. I had a feeling that they were very controlled because they had something to hide. Many of you have heard me state numerous times that the behavior of a candidate during a campaign gives an indication of how they will, in this case, govern. Further, many of you have heard me state that the personality of the campaign often will mirror the personality of the administration if elected.
With the McBerry campaign, there never seemed to be any real answers on the difficulty of connecting and scheduling an interview. The excuses given included  “The liberal media is owned by the GOP” or “The GOP has it in for him because they are scared.” The most notable one was “…the media is so corrupt and trying to hurt Mr. McBerry.”  I was even told that “I just need to make sure you are not owned by them”. As a matter of fact, in one call I received from his campaign staff, I was asked  several times “Is this on the record.” This is a very curious question, considering I was explaining how we, at BestNews, operate and the protocol used. He even went as far to ask for me to send him the questions to review, prior to presenting to “Mr. McBerry” for approval. If you have been a reader for more than a minute you know that we do not prep our interviewees and that we ask the questions which they can choose to answer or chose not to answer. This Gubernatorial race has been very polite and well-mannered, for the most part, in this race. I have yet to hear a campaign worker refer to the candidate by their official salutation in scheduling an interview.
After the debacle with the FreedomWorks debate in April of this year (see linked article below), my curiosity got the better of me. In short, McBerry was not permitted to participate in this debate due to poll numbers. He and his supporters responded with very hateful messages to one individual. However, the woman responsible for the event was not the one to receive calls from McBerry, her husband was.
Fox5 had a debate with the same candidates on July 10, 2010, excluding the remainder of the candidates due to the poll numbers. To date, they have not reported receiving a flood of calls or hateful emails, nor have they been threatened with a law suit for excluding McBerry. The spin from the McBerry campaign was not as high, but did include some of the same spin of “this is controlled by the GOP- they are trying to keep the only qualified candidate from appearing before the people.” Keep in mind, he was excluded for the same reason as FreedomWorks, yet there was very little controversy . “It’s the poll numbers, stupid.” More about his confrontational behavior appears in another story.
The first story will be his issues with young girls. This will include not only the well published story broken recently by the AJC’s Jim Galloway, SWGApolitics.com, and Fox5 Atlanta about Rachel Gandee, but also information gathered from other victims of McBerry. Most of you have indicated that you are tired of hearing the same story re-told so I assure you, this will reference Gandee, but Ms. Gandee has had enough, she wants peace and to continue her healing. This story is about McBerry so lets keep that in mind as we read this series.
Further, we will include inappropriate emails to a 13 year-old girl during the summer of 2009. These will include things such as statements such as:
Your kind words are almost enough to make me blush! You are a wonderful lady!
I am so sorry that I am just now getting to reply to your message. I have a ton of messages that are just sitting in my inbox unanswered; but, if it makes any difference, I picked yours to answer first! :-)
Ray
In 10 years we have uncovered a disturbing pattern that is very closed to classic child predator behavior.
We will also reveal the dates of his first and second marriages, divorces, and his custody agreement. You may be surprised with where he met his first wife, including his professional relationship with her at the time. We will also provide evidence that shows he blatantly, and hatefully, refuses to follow the law, and has been in gross violation of the court’s order for nearly 5 years.
We will further examine the various law-suits he has threatened to various individuals, organizations, or has legally implied such. There have been 3 so far, in 2010 that have been brought to our attention. It makes one wonder why they must resort to attacks and threats of lawsuits. In particular the attack against Gandee after her story became public although, by his own admission, admitted to having an inappropriate relationship this young lady and sent a 7 page apology letter for such to her family. You will find this in story number 2.
Further, the threats to a young group of women with the Young Republicans for not inviting him to a forum. There is a pattern of intimidation when someone speaks against him, challenges him, or he does not get his way.
The fourth story in the series will focus on his years of works towards including endorsements and speeches promote State Secession. Some of the most significant quotes include:
“The single, best opportunity for a constitutional republic, if Dixie leads the way in creating another southern republic, whether its called the confederate states of America or not is irrelevant.” Ray McBerry
“The best opportunity for southern states is to exercise self-determination and break away from the union” Ray McBerry
Wait until you read some of his direct statements, videos, and the public information available about these organizations and their intent. You may be very surprised and double check your calendars.
From the evidence you can than decide if what you have been told by his campaign is true and most importantly, determine if this is the person is worthy of such a position of this fine state’s Governor’s office.
Stay tuned folks. These stories are factual with the supporting documentation and evidence.
